In todays world anyone can open a blog site or website, but its that much tough to get noticed by public. Say for example your site is relating to tech tips, you have to fight hard to appear Page one on Google search.
It's even harder to maintain on top, so from my own experience, i can suggest you at least 10 Tips to improve your Page Rank.
If you want to make money from your site its even necessary to maintain the quality of your site.
From the following techniques i can assure you that you at least get noticed to general public and thus Improve your Page Rank!
Tips:
1. Submit your site to Google webmaster.
2. Submit your site to seomoz.org its an outstanding site which will help to improve your page rank.
3. Submit your site to all major search engines such as, Yahoo, Bing, Altavista, ask etc.
4. If you have a site related to any product or services than i STRONGLY recommend you to open a Facebook Account (Page).
5. The quickest way you can interact with people is via Twitter. So open an account their as per your site name to attract more traffic.
6. Use good Key Words for your site, which will help you to increase your traffics as well as Page Rank.
7. Use Google Analytics to know what's going on your site, i.e., its provides complete analysis of your page to understand and work better.
8. Inbound Links is the key, as more and more site are attached with your site = More traffic = Higher Page Rank.
9. Your Post Title TAG is one of the most important thing for Google, as from this Google understand about your article and index it on its directory.
10. Alt Tag for images is another way to improve Page Rank, now if you have lots of images on your site simply it won't effect your page ranking, its better to say Google bot is unable to read images, so they count your images as blank space, so use the ALT TAG option to put relevant text to inform Google Crawler that the space is not empty.
I used these above steps with one of my blog and reached Google PR 1, and maintain that position for more than a year or so. Its easy, simple though time consuming, but after you have enough traffic on your site, apply for any good Ads provider for making money.
Tip: Google ignores META TAG, so just give little stress on that.
