Friends i have seen this issue for a while, many of the people are asking me to write about this topic, so I am trying to give a light on this topic.
Many of you have a blog site or website of your own and want monetize it. great!!! You should be.
But if you are applying Google AdSense for instance, You need to follow many rules, today's discussion is all about those rules.
I know many Indians (rather South Asian) have great difficulty to get an approval from AdSense. but read the following reasons before blaming WHY Google rejects you??
1. Did you read the terms of Services (ToS) before signing up?? (Most of you didn't)
2. Do you have your site up and running for 6 months? (If NOT please do not apply now, as chances are very low to get an approval)
3. Do you follow all the rules and ToS??? (Ask in the forum for any kind of assistance)
If you are from India (South Asian Region) or from China, then please READ the rules before applying for adsense.
Rules:
1. Site must be active 6months before applying.
2. Must have enough contents on it. (eg: At least 25 posts)
3. Must have a good number of visitors. (unofficially say, 200/day)
4. Most important is, site must have ALL ORIGINAL contents. (Google detects duplicate contents and rejects the application)
5. If you are using many pictures, use "ALT" tag to put some good contents their. (Google bot is unable to read pictures, so they consider the picture as blank space. If you don't know how to add Alt tag, ask me by writing a comment)
6. Privacy Policy is must to get an approval.
7. About me and contact us page are also necessary for an approval.
8. Site map is needed as per webmaster rules (hit google for more details about webmaster rules).
9. Keep updating your site with newer and fresher contents often, and make sure to submit them to google index.
10. Last but not the least, Make sure the layout, browsers visibility and other important things are perfectly fine.
Remember one thing, if you copied someones contents then forget adsense for sure, check your site url (web address) with copyscape.com to see whether you have all the original contents on your site.
